Their choice. They could always go and grab another pavlyuchenko to replace ade for £14 million...

To be honest Spurs have been bloody lucky Arsenal and Chelsea have been so intent on being shit. Likewise Arsenal have been very lucky that despite managing to be the most shit at the beginning of the season, Spurs managed to surpass all in shit-ness in the business end of the season and seem content in pissing away all their hard work so far.

Spurs need the new stadium to allow them to pay higher wages. Without it they'll always be nothing more than a good 5th place feeder club chancing it into the CL every 5th season when one of the new top 4 goes through a bit of a shake up and falls out of it for a season. Unfortunately for Spurs there best chance (Liverpool dropping like a stone) has been completely mullered by us arriving.
