This whole saga showed Adebayor for what he is, like a large % of players, it'a about money & ego, not working for a club. Never thought much of him as a player or person, about time clubs put their foot down and get something back for the ridiculous sums of money they hand these players.
He's probably a bit pissed off that Balotelli looks like being first choice, deep down he must realise Balotelli is a better player at 20 than he is now in his late twenties!
