...5 goals and 5 assists in the 9 games he's played for Spurs so far this season isn't too shabby.

Which is not that much different to what you'll be saying at the end of May..... six goals and seven assists in the twenty six games he played for us last season.

Two big clubs have got shut as he lost his way, maybe being at a smaller club will suit him as he'll be the sole star player and not one of many.

Yes you're probably right.

Being at a insignificant club like Spurs, who don't have any other players to speak about, will be perfect for Adebayor.

Who knows... he might even manage to score seven goals by May with a bit of luck!

Seven? Possibly if he gets a few Blackburn/Wigan/Bolton games in.

Once ADE had a go at Mancini in the dressing room about "don't put me on the pitch on the 90th minute again" he was never going to play for us again sad but true

Thats telling.
Mancini offered Tevez numerous olive branches
Can he do the same for Ade? If Ade is willing to apologise?

Why would anyone want Ade back? He is an arrogant prick with ONE good season at Arsenal behind him. After that One good season, he thought he was gods gift to strikers and lost the plot. Wenger got rid of him because he was trouble and that he realised that Ade seemed to think that it was all about him rather than the team.

He came to City along with many of Hughes's mercenaries and from that moment, his attitude stunk.

When he went to Real Madrid, he stated that 'he was as happy as he as ever been and finally appreciated the fact that he had a manager who made him feel good'. Mourino dumped him because he also realised that ade was an arrogant prick. He came back to City and had the opportunity to fight for a place, but obviously could not be arsed as Bobby Manc made him train with the 'nappies'.

Now that he is at Spurs, he just quoted - verbatem - exactly what he said at Real and even had the arrogance to claim that if he was to accept a pay cut from £185k per week, the charities he donates to would suffer!!!!!!!!!!!11 £9.6m per annum!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And according to highly reliable sources close to Ade, he donates less than 5% of his net earnings to charities in Africa. Good on him for donating, but to use that as a reason as to why he should not accept any less money is disgusting.

Sell him to Spurs at a knock down price as compensation against his absurd wages and let him realise that the biggest mistake he made in his life was to believe that he was bigger than the club that has made him rich beyond his wildest dreams......................

Point by point:

1 You know for sure why Wenger 'got rid of him' or is this just your opinion? Have you got a quotation re. what Wenger 'realised'?

2 Mercenaries? All players are now mercenaries, aren't they? His stinking attitude got us plenty of goals when he was played regularly; more than one in every two games for a season.

3 Mourinho played him consistently and was keen to buy him, had the price and wages been suitable at the time. No player on our kind of wages is going to find another job easily without a lot of compromise from Club and player. Have you spoken to Mourinho personally or are you a talented mind-reader? Did Roberto make him train with the kids because he'd played so badly at Madrid or because he wants to sicken him off so much that he leaves at a big wage drop? What chance was he given to 'fight for a place'?: 'obviously could not be arsed'?? You know this, or is it just another of your assumptions?

3 'According to highly reliable sources close to him' etc... How does an ordinary fan such as yourself come by such privileged info.? Or are you a little bit more than a fan, perhaps?

4 'Bigger than the Club'? All he's ever wanted, from my view as an ordinary fan with no axe to grind, is the chance to show (again) what he can do for us.

He's a true asset going to waste, in my view and the stats back that opinion up.

It's clear from your virulent and biased post that something is going on here beyond the expression of honest opinion. Who pays you?

-- Thu Nov 24, 2011 8:08 pm --

You've more or less said it, even by twisting your words a little. Yes, an opinion: Something you seem to abuse to extreme. How anyone can take you seriously with the Ade, Tevez and Spurs comments is unbelievable. We have seen bot and Dzeko is better. Ade will just turn into a lazy twat once he goes out of the team and we all know it. Oh, except for you who still licks the guy's arse.

I don't really care about Adebayor but I have two things to say about him :

1- Loaning him to Spurs may end up as mistake.
2- Regarding the comparison between him and Edin, at the end of the season we will see who helps his team more !

One thing I will say here; Edin is not a player that can stop and start and go back to how he was once in goal scoring form. He doesn't work like that.

He clearly needs a run of games to be consistent.

I think that applies to strikers more than any other position on the pitch; they buid up a rhythm.

why are we giving this waste of space any time on bluemoon, after what he has said about MCFC get the F**K out of here and out of our club, WASTER

What has he said? Only one he's had a go at is Mancini and that's understandable.

Despite Adebayor's obvious weaknesses, he does have some strengths.

I would rather we had not loaned him to Spurs as I despise that Club and their obnoxious supporters. He could well be the difference between them getting in the Top 4 and not.

That said, we may actually get a little more money back for him than we might otherwise have expected - let's hope he is gone before next season commences.

Probably some made-up media gibberish.

-- Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:46 pm --

No need to post lies about people you don't know!

The way we're playing now Ade couldn't fail to score if he were playing for us now. It just that he starts to sulk if he is not playing all the time.
