Adebayor.....

Ade is a quality player and with Tevez virtually out the door he would be good to have back provided his attitude was right.

I genuinely think he has added another dimension to Spurs and I think they will be challenging for the title - if they don't suffer too many injuries.

Twitcher has bought shrewdly in Parker providing the shield for the defence they didn't have last year, Friedal who is a big step up from Gomes and of course Adebayor who is a vast improvement on Crouch.

I would have tried to keep him in the squad rather than loan him out to one of our rivals.

The way we're playing now Ade couldn't fail to score if he were playing for us now. It just that he starts to sulk if he is not playing all the time.

I suspect that what started him off last time was that he was being left out when clearly inferior strikers were picked. (Jo?) I think that would get anyone going.

With the quality that we now have to pick from, perhaps he'd be more patient waiting for his turn. He just needs fair treatment.

Spurs will be happy to have him on loan but they won't have him as a permanent signing because they know his track record. They'd rather wait and sign Podolski and say thanks but no thanks to Ade and we'll be stuck with another trouble maker paying full whack every week.

I don't really care about Adebayor but I have two things to say about him :

1- Loaning him to Spurs may end up as mistake.
2- Regarding the comparison between him and Edin, at the end of the season we will see who helps his team more !

One thing I will say here; Edin is not a player that can stop and start and go back to how he was once in goal scoring form. He doesn't work like that.

He clearly needs a run of games to be consistent.

I think that applies to strikers more than any other position on the pitch; they buid up a rhythm.

I meant with Edin, in particular, his touch deserts him, his confidence and everything. What he has to learn is to able get into the game slowly, rather than trying to take back off where he left off. A lot of strikers contribute in others ways if they can't score or are rusty(hold up play for example) and it helps to ease them into the match.

This is Edin's problem; wanting to do too much straight away after time off the pitch.

Can we recall Ade in Jan and loan him out to another club?

It's a season long loan that we will have paid a fee for, so there will be no option to recall. Levy's more careful than that.

We are where we are from that moment we get rid of Hughes's mercenaries, Ade, Jo, RSC, CT, Beller, Shay, etc.. they're bad rotten apples, as simple as that
