Re: Adebayor

This is why it was so important that Bobby Manc signed that new 5 year deal. It will provide continuity for our team. Adebayor wasn't Bobby's signing, and I for one can't wait for the time when our whole squad is made up of Mancini approved players.. a la today with Vinny signing a 6 year contract

Re: Adebayor

A case of who blinks first.

It wont be City. Adebayor's playing career is limited and he can't afford to waste another year on loan.

What a joy on a bright Friday morning to agree with a post of yours, Marvin.

I still think the deal will get done with Spuds, they've still got no strikers and I'm sure our top brass are well aware of that fact....

I'm sure I could if I picked the wage packet up each week that he does.

Thing is though Sam that Ade doesn't know what might happen in the next 12 months, this time next year teams may not want to offer him 100k per week on a 4 year deal - he could break his leg and never play the game again, it's a risk that he has to weigh up.

Alternatively he has 2 years left at 160k/week or whatever it actually is and just play bit parts at clubs like Real Madrid/Spurs , get the press talking about how he should be signed, etc, then bugger off to China with Drogba and Anelka on a free.

Unfortunately, he is in such a strong position.

Re: Adebayor

Wouldn't put too much faith in this being true. It goes on to say Spurs will now turn their attention to Lewandowski. As he would probably cost a minimum of £20million it looks like a "journalist" just fumbling around for a story.
