Surely Adebayor's refusal to join certain clubs such as PSG and Zenit last summer negates these rules? Lokomotiv Moscow were said to want him recently and willing to pay his wages but we all know he wouldn't go there, so again wouldn't these negate any rules against playing him in the reserves since he has had opportunities to leave?

Man this saga is making my blood boil....Im thinking seriously terrible thoughts about what id do to this guy if i saw him. If Mansour hired me as a hit man to liquidate this arsehole, I wouldnt even think twice about it....

I think he's right to suck every penny from the club. As well as keeping him rich beyond our wildest dreams he is doing a lot of good with his charities. If I was him I'd do the same. Football is only a game. He has higher priorities.

That said if I was manager and he wouldnt leave I'd use him to experiment in different positions. For example I'd try playing him in midfield alongside Yaya. Crazy I am.

Best thing to do is probly Loan him out to a Team That will pay him the majority of his wages , Thats if we cant sell him.
