I wore Adidas (usually Samba or LA Trainer) throughout the 90s and 2000s. Switched to Puma and Nikes for about 5 years and they were shit in comparison. Back in the Adidas now and the comfort they provide is unrivalled. I won't be switching again.

I bought my first pair of Adidas Kick in the early 1980’s. I’ve pretty much owned most styles (samba/gazelle/LA) at some point thereafter. I just think they are two a penny now and look chavy, similar to gangs of kids who wear black nike tracksuits. They are the uniform for over egged Manc lads who have angular hair and like to walk like Mr Gallagher.

I have them in leather mate, go to addidas site. Mi addidas, and you can design your own, cost me about £80 at the time but there's was 15% off to sign up for emails as a new customer

Quality

I used to love Gazelle but why have they started putting a white, plasticy looking tongue on nearly every pair now? Ruins the for me.
