Like I said though, if we are trophyless end of season then I believe changes will be made. Let's hope for Clubs sack, our sake and Bobbys sake that it corrects and sharpish.
Last night made me proud. Too many erreactions on here and in papers. If United were us yesterday they would have been sunk heavily imho.
Do you expect to win a trophy each and every season Nip ? If so, you are going to be a disappointed fan. Name me one PL team that has won something every season.
I dunno fella. I think we have it in is to win something every season because of the squad we have but as you say it rarely happens. If we finish close to first and have a good run in a cup then I wouldn't grumble but if we finish a season where we have been poor then of course I'll be disappointed. Wouldn't call for his head or anything but I'm not the one who's running the club who's needing the club to snowball in reputation and revenue. Decisions are never easy and when you have a top manager waiting for an opportunity who needs no compensation fee paying to club then I can see it being looked at.
In all respect to you and everyone else on here. I am a Man City fan first and foremost and affinities come second to players and manager. We hire and fire whatever serves the club best. No room for sentiment at the top. That's why I believe what I believe.
Fair play mate. In reality though there are going to be tropyless seasons no matter who is the manager, In fact, changing manager may well lead to more tropyless seasons. I hope we can get used to the fact that we won't win something every year (although I hope we do !)
United can't do it, Chelsea can't do it and Arsenal haven't won anything for 7 years.
