Adrian Durham Talksport “Mancini to be sacked"

Has anyone noticed Spurs aren't TalkSport's favourite club anymore? You would never ever hear a bad word against them before by anyone on the station, they were constantly bigging them up like they were the best thing since sliced bread, now they get slagged off almost as much as us, like for example when I heard Durham on Monday taking the piss saying they were gonna have an open top bus because they'd won one game.

There's not a chance he would have dared say that last season when a certain "friend of the station" was in charge(bearing in mind they had a worse start last year than this). That's what it comes down to. Certain clubs and managers will never ever get slagged off on that station. If somehow Harry ever became manager of Arsenal you'd never hear Durham say a bad word against them and that ridiculous "Daily Arsenal" feature he does would be dropped and never mentioned again.

So basically unless we sack Mancini and replace him with someone like Redknapp, Wilkins, Allardyce, Warnock or Martin Allen, don't expect them to be any kinder to us any time soon.

He's a Peterbrough fan got a few City connections friends, family etc, actually don't mind Durham he's generally speaks well of us, just doing his job being a wind-up merchant reeling in the callers and texts, Darren Gough the Barnsley/Spurs/United/Chelsea fan just chats pure shite

He actually said Arsenal should go for harry as unlike Wenger he actually want to win trophies and would never settle for mediocricity. Also in the past he used to argue alot that harry is actually a better manager than Wenger. I dont hate Durham as its clear he does this for reaction and used to be much different few years ago when he used to do a show marcotti and Balligue(spelling) about european football. He has found a nice market where he can p!ss off mainly london clubs and get alot of reaction with calls

For the record, under absolutely no circumstances will Mancini be sacked in the next two years. Quite simply, if we were to sack him the compensation of his contract would make it impossible to meet FFP targets. Even if we finish eighth, there's no way to sack him and reach FFP.

It would come under "exceptional charges" i think so they may be able to get away with it - Chelski might have a problem through

Exceptional charges are counted

i listen to talksport (there, i've said it) the only reason being a lack of alternative radio. Music bores me to distraction, 5live is like being stuck in a lift in john lewis, radio 4 has far too few reasons to listen.
Durham is a cheap-shot specialist, play-ground bully, devoid of original thought. You can usually predict his theme from the morning headlines. He gets under listeners skins, by denying obviously correct impressions.
Irani and Gough, small minded and dim with it, who live in a bubble of smug satisfaction. Alan Brazil, glorifying the thugs of yesteryear, Rab c Nesbitt in a suit. Keyes and Gray, deeply unpleasant people, their saving grace was the justice for the 96 campaign and the guests they have on who have a book to flog. H and J can be amusing, rarely controversial, inoffensive to most. Cundy and Goldstein, contribute nothing in a very amateurish way. The popularity of football has given the station a boost, having no competition is crucial to them.

Yer can't tune in to a radio show these days unless their is an issue to debate. "The talking point today is 'Should Roberto Mancini be hanged, drawn and quartered after City's humiliating reverse at the hands of Real Madrid's U17 youth team!"

Jeremy Vine, the Burnley idiot on R5 around 10.30, the morons from Talkshite.

They never say, "Please phone in or we could go off the airwaves". Well, the sooner the better!
