Adverts on bluemoon

This keeps coming up and to be honest I'm done with it now.

I think i was accidentally pressing the little blue triangle on the ads but I'm not doing that anymore and it still pops up.
Have uninstalled and installed and i had the update a few days ago but it's still there.

I think I'll be sacking the forum off as it's not shifting which is a shame as I love coming on here.

That can only be happening by you accidentally pressing the triangle, as far as I'm aware? Will see if I can find out more though.

Honestly Ric I've tried scrolling down using just the left side of the screen where there is no triangles and it pops up.

I've had the ad company remove the triangles now, so hopefully that should resolve your issue. Let me know if not.

Am I the only one getting adverts on mobile that surreptitiously take control of a hitbox that apparently takes over the whole screen? I have to reload until another ad pops up, otherwise every time I try to open a thread it just goes to the advertised link. It might just be one really bad ad, I am not entirely sure. Do these need to be called out so they are removed?

Yes, you'd need a snapshot of the screen so Ric could look into it.

It seems to be just a Best Buy ad that is doing it to me. As that is an American electronics store it is probably only targeted to me and a few others. The problem is I seem to be served the ad at least once every time I visit BlueMoon

Try clearing your cache & cookies, for BM at least.

Thanks, clearing any cookies/data I have for Best Buy is probably a good idea as it will clear any link between me and the store so less likely I will keep getting the ad
