AFC Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Ahh well fuck it.

We were never going to be allowed to win the league.

Criminal officiating in Arse's favour - Wham goal, no red for Gabriel or Havertz, all in the last month.

Everton first goal v us, mile off but allowed to play on.
Kicked to fuck and no meaningful pens given or red cards in our favour.
Some suspect officiating and time keeping tonight.

Don't even mention the scheduling!

Take you back to those cheating cunts moving a game forward 3 weeks and ours gets put back to just before the cup final, and then a game 3 days after the Final date!

The authorities have fucked us over this year.

Whoever was at the top would have been given all the luck and support Arse have had, to stop us from winning, reckon it's 115 outcome related.

Hopefully a few big outgoings in the Summer and incoming qaulity.

Savinho and Marmoush have to be sold, others I wouldn't mind leaving, TJ, Nico G

Jury out on Foden, Rodri because of fitness and form.

Tell you something else, if the domestic cup scheduling is just as shit next season, I wouldn't mind fucking them off!

3 Games in 7 days when going for a League and Cup double fucking stinks and devalues the league, how the fuck can you manage that.

Also a lot of luck involved in football, our recent opponents have had something to play for, theirs have not.

They've struggled all season to play out of the back away from home when pressured. Maybe Rodri back close to 100% helps but that's got to be the No. 1 priority. This team will score goals. It's the build up and transitions that are issue.

Bournemouth are an excellent side who scored a cracking goal. We huffed and puffed a bit but I won’t be having a dig at any of the players or Pep who have battled like fuck these past few months to give us a very good season overall, getting two trophies is never something to be sniffed at.

Fine margins tonight but this is a team with a lot of youth that are only going to get better, and will be reinforced in the summer.

The future is blue.

As a side note Alty must have been panicking to only play 25 seconds ‘extra’ despite all the breaks in play during injury time, the cheating rag ****.
Lots of subtle incidents tonight. The instant VAR check on the Semenyo one, the flag going up early for erl but not for Krupi. My one hope for next year is that the refs get their act together. They’ve been a shambles this year and it has had some impact

That wasn't the sole reason. Everton a couple of weeks ago have undone the hard graft getting us in the mix (also partly down to Arsenal giving us a glimmer). Keane not getting sent off didn't help matters but didn't do particularly well in dealing with getting gifted a way back.
I know, I'm joking.

The writing was on the wall after the 1-1 draw at west ham in my humble opinion

Yep. If we won our games and they won theirs, fair enough. But to allow them to not even need to win theirs is shite.

I like your optimism

Miserable fuckwits on here make me sick.
Stay humble.
Remember where we came from.
Be fucking grateful for the ride.

We all handle losing the title differently; it can be painful and sad coming up short in the league, but many things have gone against us this season In the league, we have seen so many dodgy VAR calls against us and others getting unbelievable help (Arsenal)

The pain is all about the fact that we have to watch them cheat to get over the line
Only one club in Manchester City get punished week in week out, if there is a VAR moment you can bet it goes against us every time

We all will be back for more next season

Haha , i am knocking on seventy mate and only been to a dozen home games , my sofa looks more attractive every year :)
Me too mate.. 18 months for me.. But can't beat going to the game..
Mind you on a cold wet midweek the sofa seems a good bet.. But I can't give up going lol.. Her indoors thinks I'm mad at times

Honestly if we won tonight I believe Arsenal would have bottled the last day! We had to ge them over the line Because they were incapable of it off there own back!

Will never know but if reports of Pep having to tell team last night he was gone are true then that is diabolical given the already difficult circumstances of short rest against team having nine days to prepare.

I'd have felt supremely confident if they could have somehow bagged the win tonight, though, because I think Arsenal would have dropped points.
