Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2022 | Sun 6th Feb - Final - Senegal v Egypt (Pg 36)

I watched very brief highlights to find out how Mane got injured. I noticed as I was fast forwarding a huge amount of diving and very physical challenges. A good job Riyadh is out of this.

How or why was Mane allowed to remain on the pitch after the head collision?

I don't care who he plays for, his life is more important that football.

Who allowed this? Especially as he then went on to later collapse and be substituted.

Disgraceful from all who oversaw this. I hope this is investigated (rhetorical).

Absolutely. There's been some dodgy stuff with head injuries this season. I remember Luke Shaw against us being allowed to continue and then being taken off. But at least he was conscious the whole time. Anyone who loses consciousness should be taken off immediately without exception.

The whole thing has been a shambles. Every round seems to have another event that would be a huge story in any other international tournament, not least the death of 8 people.

Just threw on this last 15mins of this game (it's on the red button), hoping to see penalties.
