Aguero 93:20 8th Anniversary 16:53 Wednesday

Aguero rightfully gets all the plaudits for his awesome composure and finish, and even Balotelli gets big credit for his wonderful assist, but something else has recently come more and more to my attention. Kompany's run into the box attracts the attention of Taiwo, who decides first to follow him before realising it's Aguero Balotelli is feeding the ball. Given that Taiwo's lunge is only just avoided by Aguero just how crucial was Kompany's run.
I am sure I read somewhere that Vinny ‘tongue in cheek’ was taking the credit for the goal with that run. Said he created the space for Sergio to run into and without it we would never have scored

I know we don't need or want any spoilers, but the half time stuff in tonight's Watch At Home is a crazy few minutes of the next 45mins. How could they mess up the showing of this game like this.

I always appreciated NDJ’s role in it too. He seemed to hold the ball for ages while he was waiting to play it forward, I can remember shouting “it’s gotta go Nigel it’s gotta fucking go” and he still had it. His calmness and patience in waiting to make the right pass rather than just lumping it was huge.

Really screwed up what could have been a great night. Halftime resume of the second half and then the talking heads destroying the atmosphere.

Someone posted ages ago he'd met Dean & he said he would have given a pen but of course it's easy to say that after the event.

Anyone think that Nedum actually tried to foul Sergio so we would have got a penalty. After all he knew QPR were safe and therefore tried to give us the chance to win it. He really lunged at him but missed.

Sergio was just too quick !

Nedum said earlier that he didn't know that they were safe until the final whistle.
