Aguero banned for three games (updated)

How is this proof of corruption? It's the exact opposite. It's the right call and that doesn't change just because he plays for City. No problem with this so long as they remain consistent.
And therein lies the problem, the FA are not known for having a consistent bone in their proverbial. I agree no corruption but a definite bias, Utd players get away with murder and have done so for years - A one match ban would have been the right compromise. How many of us have seen Rooney berate the referee a few inches from his face with foul and abusive language, caught on TV, only to get away with it? Either way we will be fine, and I suspect Pep will revert to pan B,C, D or E in his absence. It's great having a top manager isn't it.

Fully deserves the ban and he can blame no one but himself for doing it. That said, it proves just how incompetent Marriner is when he can't see something that is 5-10 yards away from him without any obstructions.

What does annoy me most is the lack of consistency in things like this. Lamela v Liverpool on Saturday gets away with an eye gouge which shows that it's just trial by media as always. If you weren't watching the game, you probably wouldn't even know what he'd done. Haven't seen it anywhere in the media since it happened. Aguero on the other hand is everywhere.

We're still more than capable of beating them lot without him. Thought he had a quiet game against West Ham yet we still created several chances. Don't think he'll start Kelechi, more likely to go with Sterling/Nolito and play without a striker.

how many on video watch from now on every single fucking game united play and that **** fellaini who does this every single game i seen him play
manchester city should be be right on it and come down on the media but bet your life skysport/bbc will not use any video replays to hurt united this season

So the next time the usual suspects gob off obscenities in the ref's face, will he be able to say he didn't hear it?

Its an absolute sickener and the inconsistency infuriates but I have no doubt Pep, based on Agueros fitness record, will be well prepared for this eventuality.

Hopefully this sense of injustice will galvanise the team and as fans make victory even sweeter

Like others have posted, inevitable. Outcome might be right but the FA make rules up as it suits.

Which is exactly the problem. We have seen Costa get away with incidents this season, and Fellaini, Rooney plenty of times in previous seasons.
