Why aren't you targeting your anger at the man whose actions have just cost us one of our most important players in our biggest game?

Plenty of posters are blaming Aguero for putting himself in this situation, this ban maybe deserved. However, the FA have no defined process for retrospective punishment, it's driven by the media outcry which is pathetic leadership of the game.

I'm still angry at the ref as he has just ruined his reputation but this ban could actually be a blessing.
I probably would have been tempted to rest Aguero for the United game anyway as we have a far more critical game in the champions league 3 days later and he wouldn't play against Swansea in the league cup.
So he only misses Bournemouth which be a standard 3 pointer anyway.

It doesn't matter that it's biased as fuck. All that matters is that in the eyes of the FA and some useful idiots (not the referee at the time), our lad is bang to rights. It doesn't matter that worse incidents have gone unpunished recently, that's not relevant. Christ, it's like we're playing under two different sets of rules.

we're playing "the corridors of power want United to win the league and don't want us to fuck it up like we did in 2012", so they'll try and mess it up for us early on like they did last season with Spurs to ensure we can't get a head of steam like we did in 2011 that forced them to get stupid with their preventative measures.

Agreed but its not unique to City just the first time its really affected us. The process needs looking at, but in all honesty it is difficult to see a fairer system unless panels of referees view each and every game.

looking good this season and hope is that we can stay injury free with key players but you have to laugh at united they are running scared already and its only the 4th game and they are looking for help in the media to get a help hand in a derby i truly think that we are 3 players better than them and that's without the new signings still to play will we miss aguero yes but i think we can hurt them but its down to the ref and i feel they will have him in there pocket

If we play like we did in that 1st half against West ham they won't know what's hit them. Peggy will park the bus and set up to counter as he always does in big games. So the FA have changed the rules for :

Ben Thatcher (granted he deserved it but still they changed the rules to ban him)
Adebayor (pitch slide punished with a yellow card during the game but still band him for 2 games)
Aguero (clearly seen by ref but hey ho it's us so let's change the rules)
