Pmsl! Good lad Kun!

Not read the book and not planning to. From the serialisation I've seen online and papers about this it sounds very much written for him by someone else. Despite loving the guy for everything he's done I think I'd be bored reading this.

Before all the rag comments come, I'm pretty old school. Fed up of players writing books in their mid 20s. Can't believe anyone cares enough to buy this stuff. I think players should wait till they retire, then write what you like. Someone like Andy Morrison. Really enjoyed that. Also if anyone remembers Phil Stant at Bury, he wrote a book called "ooh aah stantona" about his journeyman career. He was a soldier before football and fought in the Falklands. He was forever getting caught fagging it on the back of the coach by Stan Ternent. Some great stories, give me those books over superstar stories any day!

Despite being disappointed by some earlier biographies of City players this one actually sounds more interesting than usual to me. I don't think you can reasonably expect Sergio to be capable of writing an entire book in a foreign language so some help from an experienced journo/writer is inevitable.

Tony Cascarino's was a good read for similar reasons.

A good book, and certainly better than the usual miasma of mundanity that passes for footballing/sporting (auto)biographies these days, For truly brilliant football writing nothing beats "Mcllvanney on Football" and very little in the wider sporting domain matches "Mcllvanney on Boxing". Boxing just seems to have produced some of the best sport journalism -Norman Mailer, Mcllvanney, Budd Schulberg, George Kimball - all write with elan unparalleled in their field.

As for Sergio - I'll stick to my memories of THAT day,

By the way GDM - cheers for the PM, yes you have earned your stripes!

Aguero’s fond memories of Owen were certainly not of him becoming a league champion with the Red Devils but 13 years prior to that in France 1998.
"City fans might not want to hear it. But when I was a kid I wanted to be Michael Owen." He wrote, quoted by ESPN.

"I've always liked Liverpool. I'd play a lot of video games and I'd be them, because they played in red, like Independiente, my first club, Arsenal or Chelsea.”

Upon hearing of Aguero's revelation, Owen Tweeted
