I guess they vote on things other than raw statistics, such as the 'story' attached to the player and in those terms the Vardy/Leicester thing has more romance.

Utd fans would say its because City are a little club, the truth is that City are the club that ruffled feathers and no one likes us for all kinds of reasons.
