If you base your argument - Cugat is the wrong surgeon - on KDB's injury record and take the time to post it out in full several times, someone pointing out you're a fucking idiot because he didn't have surgery is not a strawman, it's literally attacking, and destroying, the core of your argument. Laporte had surgery and has looked fine since. Aguero has a meniscus injury and we don't know how he's doing yet. KDB didn't have surgery. Gundogan had a surgery and has been playing 50 games a season since.

So really the only player who had a bad outcome was Mendy, who did his right ACL, and has had issues in the opposite knee since.
