Aguero injures hamstring on international duty

That's 4 players on the books with malfunctioning Hamstrings.
Been saying it for a while, but something isn't right when it comes to our training under Pellers. Far too many deep tissue injuries.
Aguero, YaYa, Nasri & Delph.
 
Sick feeling this morning reading this news and just in time for the weekend great! If he was still feeling a twinge before the game he should have pulled out although the news outlets are saying it's not the same injury. I think we can be unscathed for the league and capital cup but I worry about our champions league aspirations where a piece of genius might be needed to separate the clubs. I know we have KDB and Silva but it's going to be hard for them to bail us out every game Sterling and Bony need to step up. I think we are looking at between 4-6 weeks 4 being the best case scenario if we are being honest. I worry more about his state of mind.
 
FFS, im sick of this shit. He came off on saturday due to a tightened muscle so what the fuck is he doing travelling half way round the world for game 4 days later. All other clubs withdraw their players at the slightest hint of a problem yet we never seem to do it even when they are injured. Fuck fuck fuck.

So pissed off. It's all very well and good us aportioning blame to the club for letting him play, but surely the player has to take some responsibility here and say "I'm not right, don't play me". Or am I being naive????

Exactly. Aguero isn't above blame here, he's a grown man. Coming back from injury for the team that pays his wages, given every lenience to get back to form after yet another injury, even taken off in his last game as a precaution because of injury, then flys off and gets injured for Argentina anyway. Aguero could have ruled himself unfit long before his hamstring going again did. Fuming.

Read the last 10 or so pages of the thread again, carefully. We can't withdraw a player from a national squad for a competitive game.
