Aguero or Tevez, who is better?

Tough to say at the moment but the fact that Aguero still has tons of time to get even better and he's not a total snake makes him the obvious choice.

I reckon Aguero. Tevez did bloody well, but he seemed to need the whole team built around him to shine. Now that his gone the teamwork is in full flow - admittedly largely down to us playing attacking football now - but before it was just pass it to Tevez and he was a bit selfish when he had the ball.

I am not sure if Aguero is less selfish than Tevez.

Tevez of last season.

Think we missed the Tevez of last season in certain games. Chelsea away, Liverpool cup. United cup. Sunderland away and in those champs league games.

Aguero is only 23. Will be better

Ironically, he couldn't put the ball in an open net there last season.

Aguero for me is a better all round and team player.

Tevez is a better player individualy, a tremendous player. Aguero is a great player too, less of a presence on the pitch but more usefull as a team player .

Performance -wise and the impact they had on City games, I would say Tevez - as of now

But, if you notice, Aguero is not supported by the rest of the team, like how it was when Tevez played. Silva tries to pass the ball equally to Nasri, Dzeko and Aguero...whereas before he would always look to see where Tevez was, and pass the ball to him...
Yet despite this, Aguero has still managed to score 14 goals this season with another 16 games to go...

I think right now the players are trying hard to incorporate the manager's philosophy and tactics into the game..once they get the hang of it, they will start to bring out their own creativity. Then I can just envision Aguero's 30-goal a season exploits...one can always dream :)

The fact that Aguero keeps Tevez out from even the subs bench for Argentina is very telling of his potential ability that can be unlocked given time...

Due to Tevez's recent behaviour , it is difficult to give an objective opinion , i hate the little ugly scraggy necked twat that much and his repulsive hangers-on . Putting my hatred aside for the poison dwarf , i would say Tevez is probably the better player but its very close , but Aguero is proper player who plays for the shirt and shows passion for the team .Tevez was always playing for himself and his next pay-day .So there is no contest anymore , step forward Sergio Aguero the future of MCFC

Pains me to go with Tevez. In another year though I have no doubts Sergio will be a better player, we haven't seen the best from him yet. Tevez's best days are behind him.

Some people may be blinded by their hate for Tevez or their love for Sergio. In my 20 years of supporting city Tevez is the best player ive seen. Aguerro can drift out of games but imo that didn't happen much to Teve. I do think however Aguerro can be the better player in 1-2 years time.

Silva > Tevez.

Agreed. IMO Silva is on a different level to Tevez.

If you compare Tevez and Aguero's debut seasons in the Prem, then you would have to say Aguero by a considerable distance.
