Aguero - Real Madrid Speculation

That the Evening News printed this completely baseless article shows how utterly out of touch with its blue readership it really is.

All it has served to do is upset, annoy or engender contempt - depending on the relative disposition of the particular supporter (I'm in the third category, in case anyone was wondering).

Why would you consciously do that to a decent proportion of your readership? What purpose does it serve if it isn't to inform or entertain? Why would you make stuff up if all it did was to create negative feelings in a large section of your readership?

Completely agree.but like others on here, its just regurgitating journalisms,from a man who main reporting speciality is fking basketball doubt he could name our starting 11 for the last game off the season,without searching the net,
Plus why would a journalist use a derogative word( Infamous)to describe one of the best & exciting finishes to a league that will never be seen again..

It's not the first time the MEN have used the word infamous to describe that goal. I seem to recall a year or two back it was used and it caused quite a furore then.
One wonders what exactly is going on at the MEN towers.
Perhaps someone with better search skills than me could dig it out, or even SB himself could lend a hand.
