Aguero v Bournemouth steward - allegation withdrawn

Sergio should be applauded. Not only does he try to return the policeman's helmet, he also tried to get their attention to what appears to be excessive force bring used on a fan. And keeps his cool when being manhandled and confronted.

Think that steward will be sweating it this morning. TV footage seems to show him using questionable levels of force on a supporter already being dealt with by an officer, and he's totally fabricated a lie which could have damaged both city's and Aguero's reputations.

Imagine an apology puts this to bed though. Unless the restrained supporter has other views.

This steward looks to be the same guy who drags Fenandinho back by his shirt, pulling him over. You can see it on MOTD just as Shearer has finished talking

An apology shouldn't come close to putting this to bed , from the fan's perspective, from Sergio's perspective and also from football's perspective. I started going to aways in the early 70's and in those days it was the norm to treat football fans like scum, but those days should be long gone. The assault by the steward, and the overly aggressive approach of the policeman both belong to the old days, and both should be looked into - in my view the steward should be subject to the same rule of law as any of us, in terms of assault and lies, the copper should be advised by his boss to curb his overly aggressive approach. Sergio should be commended for his great and restrained actions, and for being a proper bloke

Not read all the thread so could have been mentioned.
On motd this morning have a look at the hand that pulled Fernandinho back into the melee when he was trying to walk away.
It's only the cock who was on top of the city fan trying to break his arm.

City Raider - I was thinking exactly the same thing. I just love the passion our players showed. And Sergio - made of strong moral fibre - a legend.
The passion from Pep too.

I was starting to think he didn't give a fuck. I thought he was tempted to join in.

They will just hide behind he shouldn't be on the pitch blah blah blah.

They could easily deal with these situations.

They could have stewards facing the crowd and police who can turn and face the players. It would be boring but would stop it if that's what they want.

However when most of staff who do this are complete fuckwits with limited thinking ability (and I know there will be exceptions before anyone starts) it isn't going to happen

He wouldn't have been, if they hadn't dragged him on there. He is in the crowd around the hoardings and is pulled from there
and basically treated fucking disgustingly, by the stewards.

Wouldn't be surprised if the fat fuck wasn't a Rag given the amount of those wanks down in that part of the country.
Dorset has a very high concentration of them so you could be possibly right.
