You're absolutely wrong and short-sighted!!!!
kun aguero is an excellent player and he would do his best in the game! You can't judge a player on the goals. He will be a crack if given more time.Don't attack other players only because the player you loved is on the bench...

fishing?

our £38m striker isn't putting away the simple chances he should and we have a £27m striker on the bench that isn't being played because we're playing the £38m striker who isn't scoring the goals he should in recent games.

I haven't said he's shit, I haven't said he's a bad player or not good enough or we shouldn't have bought him, I've said that he should be doing more, and he should, it's plain to see as he had simple chances v Chelsea and Arsenal and missed them.

if that's fishing then the world's gone mad.

I don't love Dzeko as I'm not Bosnian.

And I can criticise him for the chances he misses, he's a £38m striker, I expect him to score them.

Like I said it's all very well scoring the lovely goals but he should be scoring the simple chances as well.

But as the general age level of the others in this thread seems to be about 8 I won't bother continuing the discussion, I don't think it's unreasonable that he should have had 3 or 4 goals in the last 2 games and we'd still be unbeaten if he'd done his job properly.
I agree with you to be honest. He's missed at least two sitters in the last two games. He's obviously a class act, and he probably stayed on yesterday because i think his movement was giving them fits.

But i do agree, his finishing has been a little bit erratic lately. No big deal i'm sure. He'll be banging them in again in no time.

I'm sure he will, and I'll be delighted when he does so.

He is playing , maybe should be converting those types of chances but stats speak for themselves. You will see sooner rather than later he will even better and will completely own the Premier League.

ffs could always ship him out,and force tevez back or ade,at least he's getting the chances, and dont forget aguero's only been here about 6 months...

we could, but as far as I'm aware you're the first to suggest it, and I don't think anybody will agree.
have'nt went through all of the thread, but to be honest im surprised as their is kneejerkers on this site (have to say i have been one of them at times)but all this talk about aguero missing easy chances ffs as i have already said he's only been here about 6 months, dzeko was getting it last season, and even mario and look at them now...

People need to realise that ALL strikers go through barren spells when the ball isn't hitting the back of the net as often. Hasn't Rooney just been through one? Were United fans calling for him to be dropped? No, and why not? Because they know the player is class and will come good if he continues to play and continues to be supported by the fans. Keep playing Aguero and keep backing Aguero and the goals will come. How do I know? Because I know a class act when I see one.

Why are people even discussing this?

If anything he's been on the best run of form I've seen him in the last few games, even if it has combined with him missing sitters (though none yesterday) and not scoring. His acceleration yesterday was frightening...anyone else remember that pass he made in the second half which he hit at a defender on the edge of the D but almost caught up with his own pass to retrieve it....rapid.
