yep mate it was... and I still stress that he is an absolute quality player.. His movement and positioning is top drawer, he's holding onto the ball longer ...

It's not like he is sat on the bench cos he's crap or he's playing absolute shit on the pitch. He still provides class assists (like yesterday), top drawer passes, is a menace to defenders and keepers with his speed and not to mention he is ATTEMPTING shots on goals - FFS the lad is in his 1st season and any fan who vents on him will be eating their words next season, or even at the end of this season!

The game is as much about what you do without the ball. Watch Silvas goal against Bayern, particularly the view from behind the goal. Sergio takes off across Silva, the defender goes with him, big gap, goal. Massively helped by Sergio's movement.

He needs games like Dzeko and Silva did to play at his best.

It's not only Aguero that misses chances, but you seem to be burying him for the chances he misses, and ignoring all the goals he has scored.

I am sure Aguero is still thinking about that first chance against Arsenal, but maybe he needs to play to put it right

I don't love Dzeko as I'm not Bosnian.

And I can criticise him for the chances he misses, he's a £38m striker, I expect him to score them.

Like I said it's all very well scoring the lovely goals but he should be scoring the simple chances as well.

But as the general age level of the others in this thread seems to be about 8 I won't bother continuing the discussion, I don't think it's unreasonable that he should have had 3 or 4 goals in the last 2 games and we'd still be unbeaten if he'd done his job properly.

I am expecting more from Sergio. I know he is an exceptional player, but he needs to do more.

His performance against Arsenal was less than Average, he was losing the ball so easily, didn't convert few chances BUT he worked his socks off and hopefully we will see more from asap.

He might be missing chance but they're chances that he's created. He's a fantastic player and did everything but score against Munich, set up Balotelli against Chelsea and set up Silva yesterday. If that's playing badly then I can't wait to see him play well.
