Aguero

Ridiculous. There is absolutely no point in sending him across two trans-atlantic flights (the last thing his knee needs) just to find out what everybody knows already. Playing a half-fit player in two matches in a short space of time, is a recipe for another setback. Its not like Argentina are short of top quality options upfront anyway; Messi, Tevez, Higuain, Diego Milito, etc.

steady on.

Since when has having to fly cause us any injury issues ?

This is where City and Mancini made a big mistake by announcing that Aguero might be fit for the Stoke game.

Argentina play Paraguay the previous midweek so you can't blame them for thinking that if Aguero's fit for Stoke he might be fit for their game.

If City refuse Argentina permission to even assess his fitness then FIFA might step in and ban him for the Stoke match.
