I thought the same. It looked a clear offside. Then that yellow line showed the guys heel played him level and they didn't then give it? Why?

I think this needs to be explained but as Sky barely mentioned it nothing more will be said. Now if (big if) it happened to Liverpool we would know exactly why.

I've seen one image that shows Aguero's heel offside, but the trouble with VAR as it's set up now is that they're not making it explicit on the broadcast which image is being used, or zooming in to explain it. It's obviously far worse in the stadium where you don't have a clue what is happening.

I don't get why it is beyond the wit of the authorities to have the labelling on the screen to identify what the decision is and why - it happens in cricket.

So the VAR reviewers are either bottlers, blind, don’t know the rules, or simply cheats.... take your pick
