He also has 10 team-mates. Look at it today when that free-kick fell to him and he shot rather than hitting it back in. There are quite a few times in a game where he tries to do something himself when he would be better of getting his head and passing. Another time today was when Silva tackled someone and Aguero got the ball and had Yaya in space but rather than looking up and playing a simple pass he tried taking on Mertesacker and lost it.

Tevez was accused of exactly the same thing in 09-10 but since they have been our top scorers I think they can get away with it, all of or strikers can score from anywhere in and around the box, so If they think they can score, then I trust their judgement of their ability if they have a shot. If they stop being greedy their goals might dry up. It only annoys me when players end up taking shots from all angles like Johnson used to do, although when Kolarov smacks one I just laugh partly because I know he can score from almost anywhere (might just take quite a few attempts to do it, but he has one hell of a left foot) and partly because he justs seems alot more likeable than AJ , whilst AJ looks like and comes across as a bit of a gobshite AK has that Charming personality and look that makes it difficult to get angry with him.

He's a first class striker - let him get on with it. Can do no wrong in my eyes.
He's an extremely confident young striker who has throughout his career scored many amazing goals and gone past countless players with his skill. What do you expect?
What if, instead of scoring THAT goal he'd tried to pass it to another player who arguably had a better shot on goal (not saying that could have happened, I've got tunnel vision of that moment, the only players I can remember are Mario, Kun and Kenny) who then missed?
We need (a) striker(s) with that mentality. Fancy passing around and in the box is all well and good but if we don't have someone with the killer instinct on the end of it we'd get nowhere. Ask Le Professeur how well that system works in the prem.
But just for the record, 10 assists last season. Not bad a for a greedy striker;)

Yeah, in comparison Balotelli only had 1 assist through the whole 38 game season (a very important one though)
