How many of those Thomas cook flyers will have 8000 plus points? Two thirds of the plane wouldn't be able to go.

Just out of interest how many were supporters clubs allocated in relation to how many they asked for.

Shortly before website announced sell out. Online. I saw it.

Few on twitter saying they brought one, had money taken and points added.

Feel sorry for those who missed out due to this cock up.

If that is really the case then the tickets can easily be cancelled and money returned

you couldn't give Madrid tickets away in Spain..have you actually tried to get to other aways?

I go to away games for league games but have missed out on every champions league away bar one, which was villarreal away. Bought my ticket outside El Madrigal and sat behind mancini. Its frustrating and Im not the only one.

Napoli away and Bayern Munich both went to General Sale. In fact we only sold a few hundred for Napoli (I went and the away end was half empty)

No mate I couldnt get tickets for them all. Last year I made the school boy error of not being in the cup scheme. Was away on holiday for Napoli.

Exactly... Must be 1500 roughly maybe more? Surely that's not right.

think you have to take in to consideration that the allocation as with every match is for the whole club, supporters clubs, players, hospitality and so on have to have some of the allocation, directors too.
bear in mind these people do take their allocations at shit games too. if we are left with tickets the club could well rely on all the above shifting tickets to friends and the like.

this is just a very very popular game.

lads i go with got just under half (11/12) never thought this would sell out so fast. there were loads of spares knocking about in madrid so im hopeful ill pick one up out there, already got travel and accomodation sorted :/

Surely the club can identify people who did not have the correct criteria,refund money,take points off those people and then put back on sale to the next level of loyalty points? Or is that to hard for the ticket office to do?

What does you is if you book the official Thomas Cook ticket tour then that guarantees you a match ticket no matter what your loyalty points are. If you look at the following link anyone could go

I suspect a good few hundred go this way to bypass the loyalty point issue!
