Ajay - just seen you post. What's your take...

Ajay, are the people you know and supply you info confident we have the squad to stay up this season.

Think about it - ADUG have bought the club and invested close to 100M so far - do you really think they would do this and risk relegation?

We lose tv revenue and at present are 5 points above third bottom place.

Every purchase is a gamble Ajay , there are no guarantees but I think you have answered the question and I am pleased that their confidence in our ability for this team to stay in the top flight for another season is high.

Relegation depends on what the players we chose in our remaining 15 games do for the 95 minutes each match and to that extent is largely out of their sphere of influence I would suggest Ajay.

The long term commitment as is suggested would include funding our team should the worst case scenario happen and we find ourselves in the championship next season I would imagine or am I mistaken there?

I would suggest Hughes and Cook would go then for sure and may not last beyond this season no matter what happens from now on in but hopefully not our relatively new owners?

Its still too early to say how many points will be needed but it would appear more points than the past few years will be required.

I am very confident that the side which finishes 18th this season will have more points than the Reading finished with last season.

This Saturday looms as a huge game for City , Boro are fighting for premiership survival and Southgate perhaps his job.

I hope we are up for this game.

No one should panic, Adug will have a business plan for this summer to further improve the club. Ultimately this season has been massively disappointing, partly because of our raised expectations, partly because clubs with lesser resources are doing so much better than us; Aston Villa, Everton.

We all expected a massive signing this transfer window, nearly had it, but ultimately disappointing. I feel we need around 5 world class star players at the club, Robinho plus 4 or 5 more. The numbers ensure that the big names sign, that is they are not lone stars like Robinho currently.

Cheers Ajay, chill out and ignore the negative posters and abusers, they do not have to believe but they should stop posting abuse.

People can agree to disagree without it becoming a personal slug fest.

Challenging the persons claims as opposed to the person himself are two different things that people should realise.

I welcome anybody's right to speak their mind on City subject matter on this forum and Ajay should not feel the need to retreat if people disagree with his statements.

It should not degenerate into people calling for the likes of Ajay's credentials to be challenged.

Be critical of the content of the post if you know otherwise and be prepared to support that view with evidence to be the case but there is no need to be critical of Ajay and anybody else for that matter.

Looks like some people are still jealous of the attention ajay got, it's so fucking childish on here sometimes.

I'm not sure if this is aimed at me or not but I'll guess it is.

I gave Ajay a fair bit of attention when he first came and probably still would if he started regularly posting again but I'm just amazed at how people still take everything says so seriously.

The oly people taking it seously are those who get their knickers in a twist over Ajay's posts. I'd still like to read Ajay's views and whatever he's heard and it should be me who chooses whether I want to believe it or not. Unfortunately I can't cos all the twats have given him so much stick

Spot on. When people post info they've heard, the info and its implications (by suspending disbelief and assuming it come will to pass) cannot be discussed because the thread descends into both abuse- and mundane claims of 'I don't believe you'. Nobody is asking anybody to believe anything- just if you don't believe you should resist pressing the 'reply' or 'quote' button and typing that you don't believe because it doesn't actually progress anything- it brings the thread to a grinding halt.
All that the 'I don't believe you' halfwits acheive is that the thread ( which they clearly didn't want to or have to read) quickly ends.

Some people posting on here and calling others idiots - what wonderful irony.

I have no idea whether Ajay is in the know or not. I was merely interested in what he had to say, that's all.

Ajay, I have been very partial to your posts over the past month and whilst I feel some if not all of the abuse throw your way was unnecessary and childish the simple fact remains that this is a forum for all city fans. It's not hard to differentiate the 30 + year supporters from the new arrivals but calls for noveau threads etc unfortunately are par for the course. The idea that some people believe that there are "intelligent posters" simply baffles me.

It all comes down to a matter of individual opinion which as city supporters and more importantly as members of bluemoon we are entitled to give. your post earlier was spot on I can completely understand why you may be reluctant to post but such was the impact of your posts that your damned if you do and your damned if you dont!

I hope you decide to continue to post on here with any information you have, I also hope that you develop a thick skin because deciding not to post due to abuse is like waving a white flag. As city fans the one thing I can assure you we have whether you are a city fan for 30 years or three years is thick skin!
