It was nothing like City losing to a Championship team. They have some really good players. Milenkovic-Savic, Koulibally, Neves and Cancelo are all top class players, way above Championship level.

I wasn’t speaking in general, Pep is the greatest manager in history, no question about it. I’m talking about the present.

Right now, Inzaghi’s game management is better. You can clearly see the manager’s influence on his team that’s been drilled to perfection. And he is there for like a month!
Our defense has been horrible for a whole year and Pep is not even close to solving it.
Honestly, I’m not sure Pep would’ve taken Inzaghi’s Inter to two Champions League finals with their squad and budget.

As always, would like to win every game we play but at least we get a few weeks rest before the start of the season.

Pep needs to get these players understanding his tactics, or change the tactics to give us a chance to stop the counter.

Its his tactics that are causing the issue, we arent good enough defensively to play the high line, add to that a goal keeper who cant stop a fucking thing, it doesnt look good

Sometimes Pep just drives you nuts. The one player with the ability to crack open defences is left on the bench. Pep must surely know now that Cherki must start ahead of Gundo.

Also I hope Rodri coming off was just precautionary. And thank God the players can now have a decent holiday.

Embarrassing. It's not about the importance of the competition, but rather your respect for yourself and your opponent, your ability to play, and your control of the game.
Without a goalkeeper who can save you in difficult moments, you have less hope of winning the knockout stage.
Unfortunately, Pep is the reason for the loss because he started the match with a poor lineup that showed a lack of respect for his opponent. The midfield was supposed to include Foden, Sharqi, and Marmoush, but he preferred Bernardo and Gundogan. He also played a high defence, which made it easier for Al Hilal to counterattack and win.
We were eliminated by an Asian team that was playing incomplete due to injuries, yet they still managed to score four goals against us.
Bringing in new players and then not relying on them indicates that you either disrespected your opponent or aren't convinced of your new players' quality.
