Alan Davies upsets Liverpool fans

fa cup semi final - there is going to be a minutes silence on sat just before the kick off, with the 2 captains laying flowers.
Nice gesture from EFC to do in their time of need, our thoughts are with them, its been a tough time seven defeats in eight games is abysmal

terrible events at hillsborough, but you get the feeling liverpool are wanting the nation to weep for the club, maybe everton should pull out of the semi-final as a good will gesture towards them, and chelsea/spurs hand them the cup...

that sounds like something on RAWK !! they have already decided on a minutes silence at the semi. They had a minute's silence last week and there isn't a chance in hell that all 30,000 Evertonians will be silent for this one. The slightest noise will kick the whole ground off, we'll come out of it looking like bastards and the media will be on their side again. i have every sympathy for Hillsborough for personal reasons, but already they have turned the semi around being about them.

7 pages of discussion on these horrible scouse bastards. I have heartfelt sympathy for the 96 who died and their familes and friends. The rest of the cunts can fuck off.

Absolute vermin of the highest order. Only slightly second to the rag shite
Tremendous post, couldn't have put it better
professional mourners, hooked on grief with a massive persecution complex

so many similarities between them 2 clubs that it's scary. no wonder they hate each other ;-) i went on RAWK earlier and someone accused alan davies of " geographical racism " - least they turned down the £1000 he offered the justice campaign group down, on principle. but in doing so they are once more the victims !

Update: That's not what he said. He clearly refers to Liverpool playing there. They've never played the rags on Feb 6th but they did play on the 11th Feb this season so I'm happy to accept that's what he meant and rescind the warning.
Glad to hear it. But you're still reading it completely wrong.

Do you both understand? If you don't then take your custom elsewhere.
And you might want to tone down that confrontational attitude you've got, especially when you've made a complete balls up of something. You're an internet moderator, not a headmaster.
I said I got it wrong and have apologised to the lad via pm. I apologise to you as well. For your information we lost a good friend of the family in the Munich crash. Hence why I'm sensitive about the use of the word.
Fair enough PB, no problem. And you don't need to explain your sensitivity over the 'Munich' issue; I'd certainly never defend anyone who I thought was using it maliciously.

I haven't got a lot of love for Liverpool football club but NINETY SIX of their fans died that day.If the people of Liverpool and the club feel it shouldn't be played on that date i think they have that right.

I remember the awful scenes of that day and in the dark days of fences, crap grounds and over heavy policing it really could have been any one of us who attended matches in that era.

Davies will live to regret that remark i am sure because one thing about scousers, like the Irish....they never forget.

So why is it different for the Heysel disaster? Why is Heysel virtually NEVER mentioned? Ever! Davies may be a prick but the point he makes is totally spot on. Scousers and their 'victim mentality' is beyond parody.

If they are adamant about not playing on disastrous days in the clubs history shouldn't they also stop playing fixtures on the day they signed Andy Carroll?

Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing.
