Trying not to be facetious but, 'genocide' should be treated the same the world over not cherry picked because of the perceived assets a country has.

When Muslim countries ask for help, only then should the West intervene, after all the West haven't helped anything anywhere in the Middle east, yet.

You ok to see British soldiers fighting an insurgency, convinced they are fighting in the path of Allah? Trouble with that argument diddums I served in the military for 21 years and would still be a member now (having been issued a 10 year contract extension) if I wasn't disabled and therefore medically discharged.

So yes I'm more than OK seeing British soldiers fighting. Same as you seem to be OK with sticking your bum in the air.

I am not asking if your ok to see soldiers fighting, thats what they are there for. I am asking if ur ok to keep repeating the same disatrous policies over and over again with all the terrible consequences, for us that they reap? Why send British soldiers into a war that is unwinnable?

I will be honest and say I don't know what the answer is, but bombing left right and centre won't solve this in the long term.

What you said earlier about Bush & Blair causing all this, I do agree with you on that.
The problem is we are where we are and these guys won't stop expanding their territory until the rest of the world stops them.
Personally I think Turkey will probably sort this out for us if we agree that they get to keep the land afterwards. I think they'd
quite like to start rebuilding the Ottoman Empire. Iraq is a failed state as is Syria. Iran will have to get the Shia areas I guess.
Both the Turks and the Iranians are mad bastards but are better than what we have there now. They can supply the ground troops.
