Albums you've 're-discovered'

depeche mode-violator,released in 1990,nearly 22 years old it is now and i only liked a few songs on it at the time of release, mind you i was only 16 at the time and my head was firmly in the madchester clouds but a few weeks ago i had it on in the car and couldn`t get enough of it(no pun intended)...

My favourite album ever
put on 2nd Coming by the Stone Roses last week, cracking album, very under-rated

talking heads - 77 , bought cd in charity shop for 50p. also got security / aka gabriel 4 by peter gabriel for same price. 2 classic albums for a quid ;-)

"The Queen is Dead" by The Smiths. Discovered a version of "I know it's over" by Jeff Buckley and put this back on to listen to the original. Absolutely brilliant album. Also agree with Second Coming - since I got Roses tickets had this on a lot.

I do this all the time.
Right now, Sticky Fingers by the Rolling Stones is flavour of the month. Not so long ago, John Wesley Harding by Dylan and before that I had a bit of a Lou Reed phase with Transformer & also Berlin.
Oh, and Graceland by Paul Simon & the best of the Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem were dusted off just before Christmas, too.

Van Morrison, Astral Weeks
Guy Clark, Old No 1
The Band, Big Pink
Joni Mitchell, Blue.

Dont play them for ages, put them on and wonder why not.
