Thought he looked very good, with generally good holding play and decisive passing during his cameo.

Just the first preseason friendly, but certainly didn’t look out of place.

Excellent cameo from the lad. Always liked this kid, I hope he gets a new contract or is sold with a buy-back clause because I think he could be a perfect replacement for Fernandinho in a year or 2 as competition for Rodri. His composure and passing range in particular always impress me.

I have always liked him but it is make or break time, put him in the squad or sell with an option to buyback, he looks every bit the kind of player that Pep loves imo and if we loan then I would like to see a loan to a prem team and that will be the true acid test.

Very good player,but he wont get the chance here.

He'd probably improve a team like West Ham/Leicester/Wolves.
