Hes played VERY well at CB this season. you're right, as soon as he is put to LB the old Kolarov appears.He's a centre back, not a left back.

Yep. He was garbage at Liverpool yet has been very strong at centre back since.

apart from the away games at Spurs & Leicester where he almost single-handedly caused our defeat.
Will be happy to get a proper defender in to replace him next season. He's doing a job because we've had no-one else and nothing more.

I'd argue he wasnt CB in those games. When used as a CB in a traditional pair as part of a back 4 he has done very well in my opinion. Leicester we played with a back 3 that was actually a back 1 pretty much. Stones was as bad if not worse.apart from the away games at Spurs & Leicester where he almost single-handedly caused our defeat.

lol thats probably the only one of the 3 i'll agree with. He wast even CB away to spurs. I admit he is a shit LB, I think hes a good CB.Oh, and Celtic away.

yeah, but then you have to play Clichy at LB, which more than negates taking AK away from LB.
Kolarov is surprisingly tolerable at CB considering he couldn't be arsed defending at LB, that's all.

He's appalling at making a challenge when the attacker has the ball, which just about sums him up - a defender that can't defend.
But hey ho, he can pass a ball when not challenged so he must be great.
