MOTM against Stoke. Great defensive performance. Plays well as a centre half.

Apart from Silva who was excellent when he came on. kolorov is better at CB but that defence was all wrong tonight. Our home form has been terrible this season.

The defence will never be right with Sagna and Clichy playing in a home game. They are arguably championship level full backs playing in a side trying to win the Premier League. I've been one of Kolarovs biggest critics for the past 5 years but with VK perma injured, there is an argument that Kolarov is now our most reliable centre back. This probably says more about the level of the other defenders than it does about Kolarov himself.

Me too, I'm not his greatest fan but fair do's to him, he has had a good season bar the odd LB performance.

Yep, especially enjoyed him passing to Stoke players and hoofing the ball out of play on at least 3 occasions. Also enjoyed him letting the ball bounce and putting their forward under zero pressure.
Sad state of affairs that he's our best CB at present.

Does anyone know why he kept clearing the ball into the stands when under no pressure what so ever?
He probably thought "shall I pass to Clichy or smack it in the stands"? He took the better option.
