Don't get the praise he's getting, he was alright at best. Both him and Otamendi repeatedly tried and failed to force passes through the middle that left us very open to counters, if we weren't playing the creative black holes of Walters and Diouf, while in the second half he seemed to lose his shit and just start hoofing it randomly. Did alright defensively, but had very little to do against the least ambitious side we'll play all year. Even then I thought he was a bit soft with dealing with the long balls, letting them bring it down or flick it on far too easily.

He was far from out biggest problem last night, but not worthy of any significant praise for that performance either.

I dont know what he is suppposed to have done this time or why, but there are sure a lot of fans who hate our own players.

I lost count of the number of threads condemning our own defence, yet here we are, 2nd in the prem, CL, FA cup, with those same players that so many fans (Inspired by the press) said we must get rid of.

Makes me tired seeiing this sort of thread, both he and Otamendi had good games last night, yet I have hardly heard it mentioned. It's like people are just wachting for the mistakes and only the mistakes.

I hate the moaners too. I often wonder how they get on in the real world with such negative and pessimistic views.

They never make mistakes, get everything they do 100% correct every single time they do anything.
