How can you expect to get respect from someone when you are totally disrespecting them ?

Never ceases to amaze me how our fans think it's fair game to slag any player but then go apoplectic when some players see fit to give it back. Fair play to him, if I was slagged as much as some of our players I would give it back in spades too.

Just when will some of our fans realise that slagging your own is way out of order.

Bunch of spoilt grasses half our support
You all moan when we pass it about the back, then cry and moan if we clear our lines
Rightly so if he had a go back, might kick a few of you into life when the team need support

I thought Kola has quite a cracking shot and I can only hope he caught the thread opener right on his nose :)

But it seems that lad wasn't fed up by Kola hoofing it away, but felt personally deeply offended by a player's gesture who seemed to hope for support instead of moaning in a diffucult match being tired and playing against a doubledecker.

Why not support when you see your team need support?

During the second half, after he kicked the ball into the stands for the umpeenth time, the fans (and Pep) all questioned why he kept doing this and groaned. He then turns to the Bell End / South Stand and starts mouthing off.

Kolarov has been playing well recently imo. Has the odd bad game, but a defender who has got a fantastic left foot. Played some very good passes out of defence last night, and once again one of our better players. I wish Stones would learn from Kolarov about when to pass it and when to put his foot through it
 
When he plays well but isn't perfect defensively, people pop up to have a go at how it means nothing if he can't defend.

When he's perfect defensively but doesn't play out from the back perfectly, the same users say his defensive performance doesn't count, he wasn't accurate enough on the ball.

It seems that with some people the bloke can't win.


Last night was a solid CB performance but, he was trying to force things and they didn't come off. A CB can't be held responsible for a 0-0 draw. He really is the least of our problems.
 
So he didn't kick off with anyone?

As with all clubs, there's a section of our "support" who are an embarrassment to be in the stands with. I'm not talking about those with the temerity to let the players and manager know when the effort's not good enough, I'm talking about those tedious wankstains who seemingly just turn up to whinge and insult our players. They usually have their favourites and Aleks is one of those lucky few.

If he was taking this stick at the end of last season, I could understand it. Seeing as he's been one of our most consistent performers this season, I'd back him against those dickheads. Some might find that strange but I'm a Manchester City fan, not a Manchester City fan fan and as such I'm not going to back up someone who I fundamentally disagree with just because that person wears the same colours.

Unfortunately ever this. A withering look and shake of the head usually does the trick.
Some turn up with some aim of being miserable.
