Deserves far more credit for being at City for a massive chunk of his career (all of his prime years) and for his part in basically every major trophy we've won since 1976. And yet people seem to hate him.
 
whether you like it or not, he is the best ball playing CB in City.
especially his long ball across the field.
still useful, but City need to find one more natural young CB like Laporte.
 
Laporte and Bonnuci turned us down,vinny injured,he has learnt to be a CB and has done a decent job in the main so it's a bit churlish to be calling him crap at the moment
We all agree he is not a great LB and neither is Clichy anymore so we need 2 new ones

Agree he probably deserves more respect. But when he's bad, he's really fucking bad. The way he jogs back in defensive transitions is extremely irritating.
 
He's had his moments but has played a really valuable role this season overall.
I wouldn't be upset at all if he stayed on for one final season as a backup CB/LB.
 
He is better than Decent CB, Infact one could argue a case that he is definitely in the top 5 CB in the league.

Not a fan of him at LB however at CB he is a player worth keeping.
He was solid and played some sublime passes today.

Excellent again, consistent and reliable CB who I think should stay there for the rest of his time with us. Doesn't seem to mind who he's partnered with either. Works in a two or a three. Passionate, enjoyable to watch, scores one or two great goals every season. Pep wants defenders who can pass, well, Kolarov is arguably the best passing centerback in the league.

Top ten for sure which is remarkable considering he'd never played there six months ago.

He will. And unless some big money CB is bought, he is by a good margin the best LCB so I'm sure he is most likely not going anywhere.
 
We will not go where we want to go with him at CB. At a push back up and potentially played in games we will boss possession.
 
He's performed perfectly capably in the roles he's been asked to fulfill. I don't believe he's at a level whereby he'd be first choice on the squad sheet if we had anyone decent enough to challenge for that position, however we don't have such a luxury at the moment, and for the time being he's certainly holding his own.
