Honestly it seems likes Savic a nothing squad player that will struggle to get on the bench.
£7 million for this guy or just not sell SWP for £4 million. IF this is the sort of quality we are looking at for squad fillers I would rather keep some of the players we have honestly would.
Italians have a terrible record comming over to the prem success wise.

Im pretty sure most people were saying that when we got AJ for 6 mil.
Squad players are easier to obtain, the big signings will be more complex deals that will take time.
Savic seems like an excellent signing if we get him.
Cerci I'm not sure of, his stats are good but he isn't even a guaranteed starter at Fiorentina it seems so may be on the fringe at City.

He does have very decent stats. Maybe Mancini thinks he can mold him into a quality squad player. Only seen him a few times, he isn't bad by any means. Exceptional? Not in my opinion. SWP might edge him out in base but in my opinion Cerci may be the better player. Not seen him enough to judge his consistency as some poster above pointed out.
Won't be a starter but maybe good competition for AJ. He's 23. Players at that age if you can guide them to consistency (if this lad doesn't have it as Young said) can become very good players. Everyone knows that. Typically not world class, of course, but someone that you can trust to come in to fill in for an injury or as an impact sub.
Or, he could just honestly be a fringe player that Mancini has no plans to really develop. I hope that's not the case, it usually isn't, but it happens.

To me he looks good, remember that AJ said last season that RM's plan early last season was for him or SWP to tire the full back then put the other on (fresh legs) and destroy him.
SWP totally lost it in terms of beating a man but he might still have this plan in mind.

Is that **** still under contract? That's the only way he will leave this club, when his contract ends. In fairness to BM, he went off when Inter played CSKA and Jo scored a couple of good goals. Fair enough if people have seen him regular and know he's aint to clever but we only paid 6 mill for Kompany and 6 mill for Zabaleta and they were fairly unheard off.

To be fair Jo looked good in europe before coming to us....and he has looked "OK" at times, especially in pre-season. I personally don't think he's as bad as we like to make out. If he finally leaves this summer and finds some form, he could have a decent career. He's better than Samaras, and at one time he was our best striker.....
