Everton the team where most of the fans were calling for their managers head at the start of last season ? and the same fans who are now saying he is world class. Everton the team with the worst ground in the premiership ? can you also explain why your attendances are going down even though your fans keep going on about finishing 5th ? maybe its because of the awful football the team play.

Alex, yes! Not as good as Lescott for me but better than what we have!
Bassong, i dunno!? he came here with a good rep but he'd played in a shit league and it is hard to judge a player when he plays against shit every week! last season at N'castle, didnt look all that good to me!

I would estimate that no more than 10% of city fans think we have any realistic chance at all of winning the league. I know you probably didn't go to school, so I'll explain that to you. If you got found guilty of TWOC, and the judge fined you 500 pounds, you wouldn't be able to pay it all at once, so he'd arrange take £10 a week from your jobseekers. after five weeks, you'd have paid 50 pounds. 50 is ten percent of 500.

I think that either would be great signings. Alex, as a starting CB at Chelski and a relatively new signing is less likely, but I could see Bassong coming.
With all this talk of left footed CB's Bassong certainly fits the bill, and an international CB at 23 is very impressive, even if he did play for the worst football club in the world.

As we get closer to the start of the new season I feel more and more confident about our side. There's always room for improvement, like a replacement for Elano, another top CB and maybe even a LB, but if we started the season as we are I would be v happy.
