Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

Last night, I watched his game - vs Red bulls

He did a good job last night!

Although a big mistake at the end of the game, I think he's cracking talented

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

I have high hopes for this guy. Loses the ball a bit naively sometimes but luckily has the leg speed to win it back straight away. When he matures a bit more and becomes more calm in posession I think he will be a genuine prospect.

Did you see the dirty looks and grief Adebayor was giving him?? Felt a bit sorry for the little fella!!

Best thing about that though is it didn't unnerve him, infact he looked even better after that.

This squad is bursting at the seams with talent now.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

Looked very impressive last night. A bit of pace, good skills and vision and a willingness to try and win the ball back whenever he lost it.

Very Tevezesque performance.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

I also saw Adebayor complaining to Nimely and it was very disappointing to see....I've noticed that Ade himself does not retain possession of the ball too well for a supposed top player.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

Let's be fair here. The moment before Ade complained Nimely refused to do the simple pass and kept holding on to the ball. He could have just passed it 4 meters to Ade who wasn't marked, but instead he tried to fight against 2 players with his back against the goal. He got a freekick with him but that was pure luck thanks to the fact that the ball bounced around a lot.

In my view it's good from Adebayor to say to the talents, "do the simple stuff, don't try to prove yourself by doing the overcomplicated stuff".

And I won't say Adebayor is the most hard-working man here, but once again, let's be fair. Nimely may work harder than Ade when loosing the ball, but Ade is expected to play 90 minutes. It's hard to work that hard for 90 minutes, he's conserving his fatigue. Nimely, on the other hand, may be exhausted after 60 minutes of working that hard which obviously isnt good.

I know Tevez work really hard for 90 minutes but he's a freak of nature, uncomparable to any other striker.

How did the other young players perform? Particularly interested to hear about the likes Mee, Tutte and even Kay.
