Interesting, thanks mate much appreciated. Tutte seems to have been touted quite a bit, can you see him any of the others making it City?

Well I'll stick my neck out, when I first saw Boyata in the youth team I felt he had a touch of genuine class about him so I'll say that he will definitely make it.

Tutte is probably a 50-50, I think he's one that needs a good loan spell to help his development.

Kay and Mee - probably not tbh though I'm sure they'll make a good living from the game at a slightly lower level.

Thanks mate. Well I was quite impressed with Boyata last season, whilst a little raw he was pretty composed in possession which is what you want. Glad to hear about Tutte, it'd be great to see some youth products come through even whilst we're 'catch-up' spending. Hopefully he gets a chance these season.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

Tutte and Kay looked a bag of nerves last night. Thats where Vieira fits in nicely, a calm and experienced head to help them develop.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

I thought Tutte did quite well last night but he seems more of a link man holding midfield player to me rather than one who will really break teams down with killer passes or runs past the striker.

Vieira I just cannot see in the team unless we are desperate or resting players for non prem games.

Nimely I like but just don't think he has that x factor that suggests he will make it at the top level. Can't argue about his effort but at times his touch lets him down and his final pass /efforts on goal are often not good enough. The glaring miss and wrong ball right at the end as examples.

I agree with the praise Nimely is getting, I thought last night he looked very good, definetly the youngster that shone the most in that squad. The only downside was the missed chance at the end but everyone makes mistakes and it's better to make them in a pre season friendly than in a league or cup match. I have high hopes for him though and don't think it will be very long until we see him make it into the squad at some point.
IMO he didn't miss the chance the defender got in ahead of him and it was a corner. Officials got it wrong and the frankly appalling ESPN coverage failed to show what actually happened but from the one angle they did have looked every bit a corner.

I hope the Premiership games they televise are not covered by American film crews, I suspect not but I didn't have ESPN last season. Why do we want to see a Red Bulls player wandering around the pitch then raising his arm to claim an offside rather than actually see the play that leads to the offside?

For these US friendlies ESPN are just taking the Fox Sports feed, their UK coverage uses local production staff.

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

This guy was all i was talking about all game , he had some very nice touches , looks good on the ball and has pace . I predict he will be a very very good player . AJ also impressed me when he came on some of his touches are just inspirational , top top player . Ade however , looked a bit tired and like he couldnt be bothered at the end but im sure he will come good . Considering we had a young team out there , i say we did rather well

Re: Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni

Nimely looked quite good and sharp and certainly doesn't lack any confidence which is great for a guy of his age going up against bigger, tougher players. Tutte showed a few decent touches but wasn't great in possession butKay and Mee are just not good enough to make it at Premiership level I'm afraid. Cunningham looked okay on the left side of midfield but at full back he is very suspect, so can see him maybe making appearances at some point during the season if he doesn't go out on loan. Hopefully Boyata will go out on loan and play week in week out because he really is a good prospect.
