From what I am reading he is more of a defensive full back so probably more of replacement for Clichy. Mind you they are both getting on a bit in football terms.

We also need Kolarov to be at it against the likes of Bayern etc, for some reason I very much doubt that will ever be the case. In CL I believe we need better LB, who can support attack but also defend properly consistently.
