The non EU status is likely to hold us back on this one. Shame as we really need to strenghten the left hand side (Winger and Defender)
I doubt that would be a problem for a player this high profile or expensive. Arsenal got a permit for that Villareal defender who is nowhere near as established as Alex Sandro without any difficulties. And why would we do that. The lad hasn't played a full season and the throw him out bandwagon rolls merily on. Lets give him and all other newbies time to settle.

Wasn't having a go at the lad to be honest mate but in a recent interview he mentioned he had struggled with the pace of the premiership and the language barrier? Some players just don't settle so maybe he would be open to moving back?
