Alex Sandro interest

It is starting to look very likely that our left and right back choices are Cresswell and Sandro now, both are getting linked through well sourced outlets.

Alex Sandro is a left-back. Danilo is the right-back and going to Madrid. Sandro assisted Jackson Martinez's goal tonight.

Both of the full-backs were excellent, two really good players who put in excellent defensive shifts and are good going forward. And both are suspended for the second leg so put a few quid on Bayern qualifying. :)

I was thinking Danillo while talking Sandro. That said its Danilo and Gaya I want.

Well it will be a little difficult because Danillo is aready heading to Real Madrid.

Well he should be one of the ones our scouts are looking at this weekend in O Clássico, along with Brahimi, Herrera, Salvio and Gaitan, who we've been linked with at one point or another.

Hopefully not Brahimi or Herrera, they simply don't have a top club mentality.

This guy has one year left on his contract, would hate to see kolarov go but think Sandro would be a worthy replacement, surely Porto would accept £20m

The time has definitely come for Kolarov to be moved on. Clichy will remain in n o small part to his homegrown status. Alex Sandro would certainly be a decent replacement, and with just 12 months on his contract he wouldn't be too expensive. In fact £20m seems excessive for someone so close to leaving on a free.

Richards30 and his fake ITK sources got hard when this thread got bumped.

It all depends on whether we can get Kolarov out because no doubt he will be on some huge wages.

I definitely think we need to find replacements for Kolarov and Sagna this summer.

I would even add Clichy in there but because of HG status he won't be going anywhere.

I feel like every time one of these old threads gets bumped I need to clarify for newer members that this was a piss-take.

Maybe we can't shift out Kolarov, thats why. Kolarov seems happy to sit on his wage package and Clichy is homegrown so he is safe.

Since when did we become cheapskates?

If you want quality you have to pay for it otherwise someone else will pay the fee.

thanks Sam, From reports we seem to be more interested in Fabinho and both seem to be around the same price....I still hope we'd give Fabinho a chance to start in CM...I think he'd look great there and help us to control the middle....Sterling is now done...now we need to make our move...Sterling, Fabinho and De Bruyne in one window would be excellent bit of business....even if we did miss on Pogba......come on City!!!;)

Still think we need a world class central midfielder though mate, personally that was the area that need improving the most this summer.

Bar Yaya our midfield is average for a top side if you ask me, Fernando is nowhere near good enough and whilst Fernandinho is a solid all round midfielder he does get overrated at times.
