The legendary keeper and club ambassador called in at MCFC MW Shirts HQ to share his City Tales of blue of growing up a City fan, youth team days, missing out on the 81 Final squad, denying Franny Lee a goal, Joe Corrigan, Tommy Booth, Promotion, team-mates, injury which forced him to retire, working for City and great players of the modern City era.

Was only around 10 or so when he signed on and remember thinking how cool it was that we had the first ever black keeper.

Less than good memories of what some mates of oppo teams were saying with the kindest being we’d definitely get relegated with him in goal.
