I agree we need a good second option, i also agree marmoush is not that option. however, that role is filled by marmoush and we can't fill it with another player whilst marmoush fills it and we obviously arent going to be getting rid of him anytime soon so there's just no space to bring in somebody else for that role.

I really can’t fathom why PIF think it’s a good idea to give a fortune for Nunez that then weakens your flagship club in the premier league and champions league?!

They ain’t anything like our owners. Who know what their intentions are with Newcastle? Just because they are from the same region don’t mean they will respect and treat Newcastle like Mansour has done for City.

Maybe the've given up due to the FFP crap, I'm not sure spending a fortune on the Uruguayan donkey will help their league though.

They could do both though mate? Khaldoon me toned a few years ago that every meeting he goes into he gets asked about City? Not like PIF haven’t got the resources to do both as revenue still comes in at all levels?

The pressure will get all a bit too much for Slot next season in my opinion.

Not a chance do they have it as easy as they did last season. Last season they didn't have to be brilliant, nobody did. You just needed to be consistent.
