Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

Sesko plus Wissa would give them a very good front 2, a new dimension, plus added depth, and they wouldn’t miss Isak imo.

Brentford can cry all they like but if a good wedge gets put on the table, Wissa is gone.

The “message” it sends out is that this is the reality. Liverpool are the much bigger club and PSR is a thing. That message is hardly revelatory or likely to surprise any Newcastle fan who has more than 3 brain cells.
Brentford may really struggle next season if their team is sold and they have an unproven manager.

keiran maguire is NOT a fucking expert, he is shameless self publicist who would say the moon was made of cheese if you paid him enough
It wasn't Maguire. I can't think who it was.
He explained how they had spent very little last year and that helped.

They've brought in more than £100m this window and they'll also sell Nunez and Harvey Elliott.
That'll bring in around another £70m plus, I would suspect.

Oh and now they're selling Tyler Morton for £15m!!!!!!!!

Who is surprised?

I think Liverpool may try again, but the result will likely be the same. Unless they cough up 150m, which they won't do.

The whole saga is a preparation for next summer. Or January if Liverpool are desperate.
They've turned his head now. Give it a month or two and they'll be back. He will end up in Murkeyside.

Also...they have expectations this year, last season was a free hit everyone thought they'd struggle

Saw cracks in Slot when the pressure ramped up last year, even though they were miles in front

After spending a record window, after a league win they will be expected to win it all
Quadruple?
As that lady in Bristol said "What, another one?"

Is it well done Newcastle?

I wouldn't want some no good **** playing for us who didn't want to be here

What I don’t get is that Liverpool are making all the narrative in there favour! Why don’t someone who is actually running Newcastle just come out and say Isak can leave for £150m not a penny less or he is staying! oh and tell sky the media that Liverpool are lucky we ain’t as bitter Liverpool or we be making a complaint

I think the way Isak has dealt with it has probably made the deal a lot more difficult. Had he kept it out of the press (or his agent) then it’d be getting done. Now probably less likely.
