Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

Genuinely, does Newcastle NEED to sell Isak, or somebody for that matter? With PSR and all.

Ornstein 'said' this morning that Isak doesn't want to play for Newcastle again.

I wish these players would speak for themselves. That though is some statement. I don't believe him. He will play if the transfer window shuts. Does Newcastle offend him that much? It's not like he is at Bournemouth, or Leicester.

If he does end up staying at Newcastle this season, you can bet the red media will go into overdrive trying to get the Geordies to turn on him.

I doubt that very much, they are asking him to be professional and act professionally, if i was a player i would be looking at isak and thinking hes a **** rather than blaming newcastle, they are under no obligation to sell him, they pay him handsomely and they have reached the champions leage, isak is 100% in the wrong here and not sure how any player could put this on the club. Player power has gone 2 far the other way now and these spoilt little brats could do with a dose of reality.
And Liverpool is in the wrong also why has nobody pointed the finger at Liverpool , we all know the answer to that dont we

I'd be having second thoughts if I was looking to bring in Isak. If hes willing to go to these lengths to get in, what makes you think he wouldn't do the same thing to get out if say Real Madrid decide they want him in a season or 2?

The dippers of course are in the wrong by making their interest public BUT (and i hate defending the dippers it goes against everything i believe in) them making their interest known in the player does not necessitate the player acting the way he is, hes a grown man and can choose to act respectfully and professionally despite the situation, he is choosing not to.

Contractual Obligation:
Football clubs have a contractual obligation to pay players' wages, and this obligation remains even if a player refuses to play, unless there is a valid reason for termination of the contract.

Just how fucking crazy is that?
is there a 'behaving like a sulking toddler ' clause?

Playing devils advocate haven’t we spent more than Liverpool net over last few years ? They are just run really well and are selling players for big money and reinvesting by signing better players
They lost TAA for £10m, and renewed Van Dijk and Salah's contracts when they were 34 and 33 years old respectively. They have also let Diaz and Nunez go before signing Isak. They don't appear to me well run.

I have absolutely no time for Newcastle whatsoever, but I think it would be an excellent statement from the club if they just let him rot in the reserves for the remainder of his contract. Sure it would cost a lot of money, but let's be honest, it's peanuts compared to their overall net worth. The way he has acted is really disgraceful and he fully deserves to be made an example of.

I’d be really interested to see this. I’d give it till Christmas before Isak suddenly decides he doesn’t mind playing for Newcastle after all.

He’s all well and good kicking up a stink now but if Newcastle called his bluff I think he would shit himself that he was about to lose 3 years of his career.

I wouldn’t need the red media to make me turn on him if I was a Geordie.
Any of our players did the same thing and I would want to see them rot in the reserves.
