If I were Newcastle I'd up the transfer fee to $125-130 million because Isak's being such a **** about this. If you want to disgrace yourself that's one thing. But to bring the club into it by saying he had "assurances" or "promises" from the club and now they're reneging on it. Poor form. Unfortunately, because FIFA Article 17 was changed to favor players, Newcastle may have no choice but to sell him or risk getting nothing.
Article 17 won't get him anywhere, Newcastle can keep him training whilst choosing not to play or sell him and be well within their rights.
No club would want to get involved with signing him that way either as it's a dangerous game to play for every club. Liverpool themselves had Suarez kicking off and wanting to leave.
